This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the educational journey of our students through engaging exploratory courses.

Position: Middle School Exploratory Teacher

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Education

Valid teaching certification in Career and Technical Education (CTE), or Art, or Computers, or related subject areas

Proven experience in teaching middle school students, with a strong understanding of adolescent development

Passion for innovative teaching methods and interdisciplinary approaches

Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students

Excellent communication skills to collaborate with colleagues, parents, and students effectively

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement engaging exploratory courses that may include Career and Technical Education (CTE), or Art, or Computers, or other interdisciplinary subjects

Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and personal growth

Design curriculum that aligns with state standards and encourages creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

Utilize technology and digital tools to enhance learning experiences

Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic and social-emotional development

Collaborate with colleagues to integrate exploratory courses with core subjects and promote cross-curricular connections

Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and best practices
