Job Description:

Position will be available beginning August 2024

Middle School Computer Science Teacher - must have or be eligible for a NC Professional Educator License in the appropriate area of assignment. (Information Technology Ed. - 0765 or Technology Ed. (6-12) - 0820 or Vocational Bus Ed. (6-12) - 0760)

The Computer Science Teacher should be able to assist students in:

• Exploring career options in computer science and to assist them in planning for high school career planning.

• Training and technical skills needed to be successful in a computer science career.

• Developing basic workplace skills and functions as ethical and moral citizens.

• Connecting with real world of work through rigorous and relevant hands-on learning experiences.

• Providing opportunities to participate in leadership and personal development training needed to succeed in a career.

• Providing a wide range of career information and experiences, utilizing the state curriculum.

• Continue growing the TSA chapter as an advisor and mentor.
