Middle School Assistant Principal

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have successful experience as a teacher. Preference will be given to those with prior administrative experience.

Must hold a Virginia teaching license with the endorsement of Principal or of Administration and Supervision, PreK-12. Responsible for developing, coordinating, implementing, and maintaining attendance and truancy efforts at assigned schools. Must work effectively with parents, students, teachers, administrators, and the public.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

Effective Date: 2024-2025 School Year, 12-month (260-day) contract

Salary: Commensurate with education and experience

Benefits: VRS pension and life insurance, medical/dental insurance, sick, vacation, and personal days
