We are currently seeking a Middle Office Manager for our Trust Department. This position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of the Trust & Asset Management Middle Office. In doing so, the associate will supervise a staff that will be responsible for bridging the needs of the business development and account management staff with the various back-office groups including Trust Operations and Old National Service Division.
Key Accountabilities
Manage the day-to-day operations of the ONWM Help Desk:
Supervise the timely and accurate opening and closing of accounts on the trust accounting system.
Supervise the timely and accurate payment of invoices directed to the designated post office box.
Develop and implement policies and procedures related to account opening and closing, bill payment and research.
Ensure that cases logged by ONTAM associates are resolved by Middle Office Associates accurately and on time, via the Help Desk Portal (to be developed) and respond to the requesting party on a timely basis;
Facilitate centralized input of RPS distribution requests.
Supervise the performance of system support functions related to the ONTAM
Assist ONWM associates in developing downloads as needed from time-to-time
Order statements and resolve out-of-balance situations as they occur; and
Facilitate periodic system uploads required make mass changes.
Act as lead in facilitating ONTAM system conversions arising out of ONB merger and acquisition activities.
Facilitate conversion process from initial data mapping through post-conversion cleanup.
Participate in the training of new associates on the FIS TrustDesk system.
Key Competencies for Position
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting, or related business degree.
Minimum 7 years practical working experience in bank trust department with understanding of front and back office functions
