The Team

The role is a within the Middle Office Engineering team.  Our teams are small, motivated, and highly productive. Collaborating side-by-side with AQR operations professionals, you will become intimately familiar with the platforms and processes that run AQR.

Your Role

You will join an engineering team supporting one of the broadest business functions. You will design and build business applications for many sub-functions, including treasury, trade matching and settlement, portfolio accounting, fund performance, and others. You will also have key input into designing the future state of the technology stack for these functions.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline

  • 2-5 Years of work experience building web applications with C# and JavaScript

  • Experience with Angular or other web frameworks

  • Outstanding coding, debugging, and analytical skills

  • Experience with Source / Version control systems such as Git

  • Experience with AWS or other cloud providers is a plus

  • Experience with SQL and/or No-SQL Databases a plus

  • Experience with messaging and pub/sub platforms is a plus

  • Familiarity with software development best practices

The salary range for this role is expected to be $110,000 to $130,000.  This is the range that we in good faith believe is accurate for this role at the time of this posting.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, depending upon factors such as skills, experience, location, or other business and organizational needs.  This wage range may also be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
