This recruitment will be used to establish an Eligibility List for the current Middle Level Financial Clerk vacancy shown below as well as any future vacancies. This list will be active for three (3) months with the possibility to be extended.
The San Diego Unified School District currently has the following Middle-Level Financial Clerk position available:

Scheduled for 10 months per year, 40 hours per week

BASIC FUNCTION:
Perform budget and financial-clerical activities in a middle-level school or designated atypical schools.
This is a promotional/open opportunity, which means that current monthly-salaried employees receive precedence over other candidates on the eligible list.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination of training, experience, and/or education equivalent to formal bookkeeping or accounting training, and three years of recent, full-time equivalent, paid bookkeeping or fiscal-clerical experience. Three school years (30 full-time equivalent months) is acceptable.
LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Possession of a valid California driver's license and availability of private vehicle may be required for designated positions (mileage expense allowance provided).

This information must include an approximate start date, end date (where applicable), specific site, job title, hours per week, and job duties performed for each long-term assignment.
