Fulltime (5+ shows a week) position on classic rock station WMGK, hosting a music based program from 9am to 2pm. Successful applicant will also contribute in areas of production- recording shows and voicing commercials; in promotion- making public appearances on behalf of the station & advertising clients; in digital- creating on-line and social media content consistent with the brand.


  • Dynamic personality with technical ability to manage air and production studio equipment and mixing & editing platforms;
  • communicate clearly & personally with the audience; cooperative with sales clients,
  • able to manage the physical and mental rigor of a fast-paced, dynamic media environment;

The Engineering and New Technology Division is responsible for identifying and developing new technologies, including anti-counterfeit detection and deterrence. As a Physical Science Technician , you will: * Plan and conduct all testing phases and make necessary arrangements to conduct industrial experiments or laboratory analyses. * Determine proper approach; select appropriate materials and tooling; and set up and carry out the analysis and/or experiments using a variety of chemical, mechanical, and metallographic techniques and non-destructive test equipment. * Follow all material control procedures to ensure testing and samples meet law enforcement evidence control requirements, adhere to established testing procedures, and prepare findings and reports that can be certified and if needed support litigation and prosecution for counterfeit activities. * Perform tests of packaging materials and package systems to determine compatibility with coinage metals, environmental degradation, and counterfeit deterrence suitability. Specialized experience: Specialized experience is one year of experience at the GS-11 level or equivalent in other public or private sectors, that is directly related to the position as listed in this announcement and which has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Specialized experience is defined as: * Experience using analytical techniques that involve one or more of the following specific pieces of equipment; Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF), and/or Inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS); AND * Experience with performing physical property testing of materials and conducting lab analysis work using various analytical and metallurgical tests.
