Haley Ward is seeking a talented Mid-level Structural Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing CAD/Revit drawings and project documents in accordance with company standards. They will work closely with engineers and architects to ensure that designs meet specifications and adhere to relevant codes and standards.

What you can expect to be doing:
Prepare CAD/Revit drawings and project documents in accordance with company standards.
Collaborate with engineers and architects to ensure designs meet project requirements.
Review and modify designs to comply with building codes and standards.
Ability to effectively and professionally interact with clients/owners, equipment suppliers and contractors.
Able to work within schedules and budgets for assigned tasks.
May support the training of Staff Technicians and Designers as necessary. Including technical design, CAD/Revit skills, overall standards and processes.
Good verbal and written communication skills
May Provide QA/QC support for Technicians and Designers as it relates to CAD/Revit standards and integration and client specific requirements.
Able to travel to project sites as needed for meetings and field investigations/inspections.
Able to clearly document site observations and existing field conditions for use by others in the design process.
What you will need to succeed:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
3+ years of experience in structural design and drafting.
Professional Engineer (PE) license, and/or demonstrated licensure track preferred.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit. Other CAD software a plus. A test in AutoCAD and/or Revit may be conducted.
Knowldedge of Bluebeam Revu software. Proficiency is a plus.
Strong knowledge of applicable building codes and regulations.
Ability to work unsupervised at times.
Excellent attention to detail, quality, and accuracy in work, and time management.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Valid driver's license & reliable transportation required
A criminal background check and driving record check will be conducted.
