Your Role and Responsibilities
IBM's Digital Workplace engineering is looking for applicants who will thrive in an open, dynamic, flexible, fun-spirited, collaborative environment and desire creative freedom and an opportunity to work on high performing teams!

Must have the ability to work in the US without current/future need for IBM sponsorship
Build new functionality into web applications with a global audience
Engineer information retrieval solutions with modern tools on a corpus of millions of documents
Provide users with the information they need, when they need it
Create ranking algorithms which incorporate user activity into results feeds

w3 Homepage (a productivity tool) - ~8M monthly sessions
Internal search engine - ~2M monthly sessions
BluePages (internal LinkedIn) - ~5M monthly sessions
Help@IBM (IT Support portal) - ~2M monthly sessions

Our intranet is vast, with millions of assets indexed, and offers unique challenges. We are looking for a leader with experience driving engineering innovation in Information Retrieval, comfortable making data-driven decisions, and leading technical teams.
