Job Title: Mid-Level Sales Representative
Location: Rochester, New York.
Job Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire
Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000 base salary, with excellent opportunities for uncapped commission
Travel Requirements: 30% domestic travel (primarily between April and August)
Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Mid-Level Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales, preferably within the manufacturing or construction sector (not limited to these industries).  This role requires a deep understanding of fabrication and sales that are built to spec, as well as a relationship-driven approach to selling. The position involves domestic travel for customer visits, trade shows, and generated appointments.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales Achievement: Meet and exceed sales targets and goals, driving revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Travel: Travel domestically (30% of the time) for customer visits, trade shows, and pre-scheduled appointments, primarily between April and August.
  • Product Knowledge: Demonstrate a thorough understanding of fabrication and built-to-spec sales, offering expert guidance and advice to customers.
  • Dealer Relationships: Manage and cultivate dealer relationships, ensuring optimal product placement and customer satisfaction.
  • Sales Strategy: Implement and execute sales strategies that align with company objectives and market demands.
  • Growth Opportunities: Show potential and drive to grow into a sales management role, with responsibilities to build and lead a strong sales team.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Proven success in sales, preferably in the manufacturing or construction sectors.
  • Skills: Strong relationship-building skills with a customer-focused approach. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of fabrication and built-to-spec sales.
  • Travel: Willingness and ability to travel domestically (30% of the time) for business purposes.
  • Ambition: Demonstrated ambition and capability to grow into a sales management role, driving both personal and team success.
  • Approach: Ability to manage dealer relationships and direct selling approaches effectively.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Base Salary: $80,000 - $100,000, commensurate with experience.
