The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Mid-Level Safety Specialist to join the team in Portland, OR.

The selected candidate will work safety activities in a high-risk environment. This role supplies to regulatory compliance, high hazard operations, and committed safety goals. The safety specialist position will support the Portland Site and will lead workplace safety activities requiring additional focus on injury prevention.

Position Responsibilities:

• Develops, implements and monitors occupational health and safety programs and processes

• Develops and provides training and instructions

• Evaluates the impact of emerging issues, regulations and legislation to company operations

• Plans and conducts health and safety audits

• Develops corrective action plan to respond to internal/external audits and inspections

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. Tomeet export control compliance requirements, a "U.S.

Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. "U.S.

Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor degree or higher

• 3+ years of experience working in Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS)

• 3+ years of project management experience

• 3+ years of experience assessing and evaluating risk

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Associate Safety Professional or Certified Safety Professional certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals

• Currently possess or have the capability to obtain a Confined Space Certification and Fall Protection Certification

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience, 9 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $95,200 - $128,800
