The City of Berkeley invites you to apply for the position of Mid-Level Practitioner in the Health, Housing & Community Services Department! In this role, you will have the opportunity to use your education and training as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide services in the Mental Health or Public Health Division.
In the Mental Health Division, the Mid-Level Practitioner works under the supervision of a Psychiatrist and provides complete psychiatric assessments including mental status examinations and psychiatric diagnosis. provides treatments of both chronic and episodic psychiatric disorders.
In the Public Health Division, the Mid-Level Practitioner provides health care at the Berkeley High School Health Center (BHSHC) and the City of Berkeley's Public Health Clinic. This position has overall responsibility for the delivery of clinical care and supports other clinical staff.
This is an hourly, part-time position working up to 19 hours per week. It is not a benefited position.
