SAIC is hiring a Mid-Level All-Source Intelligence Analyst to be immersed into a dynamic environment composed of a diverse team of analysts, linguists, cultural experts, and operations officers. The analyst will focus on creating and recognizing targeting opportunities and strategies in the cyber-realm. The position requires superb critical thinking skills, writing, and briefing abilities. Along with strong analytic skills/research skills, the candidate should demonstrate strong operational sense and personal initiative. This position will require interaction with a wide variety of Government leadership and contractor personnel. The ability to operate in a diverse, evolving, and high profile environment is key.

  • Utilizes all-sources of intelligence, including IMINT, SIGINT, HUMINT, MASINT, OSINT, and SMINT (social media) to provide recommendations and courses of actions to government leads.

  • Provides targeting to strategic and/or counterintelligence platforms, highlighting relationships within target networks

  • Conducts Social Media and Open Source Research for investigative and/or operational activities

  • Identifies, monitors, and assesses the efforts of foreign intelligence entities who attempt to collect sensitive national security information on US persons, activities, and interests; including technologies and the threats posed by emerging technologies to US operations and interests.

  • Develops investigative leads and creates associated incident, threat, and information reports/products

  • Can be counted on to exceed goals successfully, very bottom-line oriented; steadfastly pushes self and others for results



  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience within the US military or US intelligence community with a Bachelor's Degree in Intelligence Studies, International Studies, or a related field (in-field experience may be substituted for education). Additional years of experience or military training may be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • Experience with one or more of the following databases: HOTR, Harmony, TAC, M3, Open Source Center

  • Demonstrated experience utilizing data visualization tools (e.g., i2 Analyst Notebook, Visio, Palantir, Tableau, Qlix, Power BI)

  • Experience with assessment of sources and their reporting through the corroboration of source reporting and providing analytical feedback

  • Working knowledge of popular, legacy, and new social media, blog sites, and mobile applications.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (specifically OneNote)

  • Strong knowledge of military operations, terminology, and structure

  • Preparing Information Reports with excellent writing and briefing skills


  • Former Military Intelligence experience (35 Series, 14N, 1N0, 0210, 0211, or equivalent)

  • Formal coursework or instruction in OSINT techniques, technologies, tools, and trends.

  • Experience utilizing commercial Social Media and Open Source Tools/Databases (e.g. BabelStreet, Maltego, FiveCast, Harvester, DataMinr)

  • Experience with Military or Law Enforcement Community Counterintelligence Investigations

  • Experience in the production and dissemination of Intelligence Information Reports (IIRs)


  • Active Top Secret Clearance with ability of obtain SCI and pass a polygraph (PR within 6 years)

Our Homeland Security Sector seeks qualified candidates to provide data analytic support. Successful candidates will have at least 3 years of experience in data analysis, modeling, and/or data management. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a professional services firm and/or a government agency, and is comfortable with all steps of the data analysis process, from devising a data needs and a collection strategy to performing analysis and developing visualizations. This position will support projects within the Systems Resilience (SR) practice area. A multi-disciplinary and cross-functional practice, SR develops and applies innovative systems-based approaches to analyze emerging threats (including all-hazards preparedness and emerging climate risks), identify needs, and drive organizational implementation of effective solutions to mitigate risk and build resilience. The candidate should be comfortable leading engagements with a diverse range of clients, including homeland and national security-related federal departments, state and local public safety agencies, and large private sector firms, interacting with front line operators, senior executives, and all types of staff in between. As part of SR's multi-disciplinary focus, this position would also work with teams across Cadmus. This may include supporting teams that focus on renewable energy, sustainability and energy, energy transformation, and climate resilience and adaptation topics. The ideal candidate will be able to collect, analyze, and visualize data on emergency preparedness, climate adaptation, and sustainability and energy, enabling our clients to identify and resolve their most pressing risks and challenges. Responsibilities This mid-level Data Analyst works closely with project managers to deliver high-quality, data-driven products and analysis to meet and exceed client expectations. Specifically, this position helps clients and stakeholders establish and implement data and analytical practices that drive decision-making. Work includes: * Design methodologies and data collection approaches for a wide range of clients and audiences with varying goals. * Conduct both quantitative and qualitative data collection and integrating diverse datasets into appropriate programs. * Conduct and assess the validity of statistical analysis. * Develop data visualizations using industry standard software and tools, such as Tableau. * Devise and produce new, complex data products and tools in concert with the broader project team. * Communicate findings through presentations, visualizations, dashboards, reports, and white papers to both technical and non-technical audiences. * Support the generation of innovative and high-quality assessments, reports, memoranda, and presentations based on data analytics tailored for senior-level clients. * Provide a strong attention to detail and adherence to a formal writing style guide to create consistent and professional reports, assessments, and other written deliverables. * Work effectively on a team and under the direction of a project manager. Qualifications Required Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree and/or master's degree from an accredited university, preferably in data visualization and/or analytics, or education in national or homeland security, public policy, emergency management, sustainability and energy, renewable energy, or climate adaptation with a demonstrable focus in data analytics and visualization. * Over three (3+) years of demonstrated professional experience in data visualization and/or analytics, or related fields (A relevant master's degree in data-related work may be substituted for 2 years of data experience). * Excellent writing/editing, analytical, communication (oral and written), and presentation skills. * Proficiency in relevant software programs including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. * Experience with industry standard data analysis and visualization software, such as R, ArcGIS, and/or Tableau. * Professional fluency in the English language, both spoken and written. * Strong attention to detail and the ability to self-edit and quality-check all work; ability to review, quality-check, and edit the work of supporting team members. * Experience interacting with clients, to include implementing client requests and initiatives. * Ability to manage tasks and deadlines across multiple simultaneous projects. * Some domestic travel may be required in a post-COVID-19 environment * Candidates selected may be subject to a security investigation and/or security clearance.
