Bowhead seeks a Mid Level Instructional Designer for our Orlando, FL location.

Duties will include:

Analyzing training requirements to design and develop learning course ware for training.Requirements Six years working experience as an instructional designer

  • Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Design (or equivalent combination of education and work experience)

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must be able to obtain a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.

Physical Demands: The office environmental conditions consist of computer stations and desks with adequate and adjustable lighting.

Chairs are designed to fit the various individuals and the tasks being performed. Ergonomic evaluations are completed as needed, to provide up to date modifications to all work stations.

If the position requires, an applicant must pass a pre-employment criminal background history check. Experience * Proficiency in HTML and CSS (the ability to code without the use of a WYSIWYG editor). * Experience in the development and delivery of online course materials and education programs using learning management systems (e.g., WebCT, Blackboard, Canvas, D2L, Moodle) as a course designer. * Experience using either Camtasia or Storyline Articulate to create multimedia learning objects. * Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe CC, Google Drive/Docs * Online teaching experience preferred but not required * Experience working with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to design and deploy online courses. * Experience working within schedule and budget deadlines. Skills * Proficient in MS Office, Adobe CC, Camtasia or Storyline Articulate. * Able to program and fix HTML code without the use of a WYSIWYG editor. * Attention to detail.
