Role Summary
MetaPhase is seeking a Data Analytics Lead with 6+ years of experience Local to the DC Metro Area to support the National Risk Management Center (NRMC) within the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). The NRMC supports CISA's mission by identifying, assessing, and prioritizing strategic risks to national critical functions and collaborating on the development of strategies and approaches to manage risks to critical functions. The Data Analytics Lead will be leading MetaPhase's efforts with the NRMC by supporting the Critical Infrastructure Risk Analysis (CIRA) and serving as the lead analyst for the team.
What You Will Be Doing
Producing, informing, and validating stand-alone analytic products that inform, increase base-knowledge, aid decision-making, and/or drive critical infrastructure risk mitigation actions within the critical infrastructure security community
Applying Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) concepts and industry best-practices in developing a framework with defensible, repeatable criteria, metrics, parameters, and thresholds to determine appropriateness of including identified risks in critical infrastructure entity and asset prioritization lists
Supporting the enhancement of the organization's analytic capability as it addresses systemic enterprise data challenges (e.g., data gaps, data access, data visibility, data interoperability, data architecture and integration, data management, data governance, and data lifecycle) and directly align data management solutions with the CISA and NRMC's mission priorities
What We Need From You (Required)
At least six (6) years of demonstrated experience acting as a senior data analyst, including at least three years applied to national security, defense security, or homeland security data
Experience in presenting and communicating the results of analysis to project stakeholders
Relevant certifications in the field of data science (e.g., Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert: Data Management and Analytics, Certified Analytics Professional, Amazon Web Services (AWS) Certified Big Data
Ability to think strategically about business and technical challenges around data & analytics in an enterprise environment.
Bonus Points (Desired)
Extensive knowledge supporting the development of large-scale projects and deliverables to present to clients
Expertise in program research methodologies and best practices

Must be able to go onsite 1-2x a week
Education Level
A degree in the fields of Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, or Engineering and a have undertaken at least 24 credit hours of quantitative based coursework (in the fields of mathematics, statistics, or engineering), including at least six credit hours of calculus.
Clearance Level
US Citizenship and Active Top Secret Clearance is required
Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is 83k-122k.
