We also offer competitive compensation, benefits, and advancement opportunities.Required Skills As a Tower Technician III, your responsibilities will include: * Climbing and working on communications towers for the purpose of installing, replacing, and repairing antenna systems equipment performs tower maintenance under close supervision. * The basic use and care of hand tools and mechanical equipment. * Knowing the hazards associated with tower climbing, construction equipment, and working on or near energized lines and equipment. * The ability to climb tall structures (100 feet or more) with 50 lb. load. * Analyzing situations accurately and adopt an appropriate course of action. * Communicating orally and in writing. * Following instructions accurately and complete assigned course of action. * Recognizing safety hazards and performing duties in a safe manner. * Act as a team lead and mentor to less experienced Tower Technicians. * Must have the ability to traveling extensively within assigned region. *
  • 4-5 Years' experience installing MW antennas on the Tower. * Experience installing Different types of MW transmission lines ( Elliptical Waveguide, CNT-400, Cat-5, Fiber)* Experience Working in the wireless telecom industry, and understanding of how MW path works. (such as path alignment, testing and troubleshooting transmission lines.)Job Requirements * High school diploma or GED equivalency* A minimum of 4 years tower experience * Industrial first aid * Ability to read, comprehend and carry out instructions per prints * Organized with a strong attention to detail and capable of working with minimum supervision * Demonstrated expertise in construction skills, rigging, safety and general industry knowledge. * Extensive rigging experience with ability to pass Rigging Course * Familiarity with crane signals and gin pole operations * Complete installation of lighting systems with the ability to troubleshoot * Working knowledge of safety standards and regulations * Must have the ability to climb towers, be able to pick up 50 lbs., and be cable of working up to 12 hours on occasion.* 4-5 Years' experience installing MW antennas on the Tower. * Experience installing Different types of MW transmission lines ( Elliptical Waveguide, CNT-400, Cat-5, Fiber)* Experience Working in the wireless telecom industry, and understanding of how MW path works. Familiar with analyses such as link budgets, gain/loss budgets, noise figure, linearity, spurious, etc. * Requirements flow-down from top-level customer document to component-level specification. * Cost account management for engineering portion of multi-year program, including cost and labor estimating, task scheduling and earned value tracking * Prepare and present design reviews for internal and external customers * Subcontractor management (some travel required) and manufacturing interface definition including performance specification, interface control drawing, and statement of work generation, as well as continuous technical support throughout the procurement life cycle * Integration and test support for the communications systems including unit-level functional and environmental testing, spacecraft level testing, and in-orbit checkout Rocktober Basic Qualifications: BSEE with some combination of the following course work: antennas, microwave theory, satellite communications, radio-wave propagation, electromagnetics. Good understanding of communications and microwave theory. Experience with microwave component/system measurement preferred, but not required. * Ability to work with others from engineering and non-engineering disciplines in a fast-paced team environment * Good oral presentation skills and comfort with customer interaction. Ability to write technical documents clearly and concisely. Active TS\SCI Security Clearance Preferred Qualifications: MSEE preferred.
