Job Title: Microwave Production Manager
Location: Mountain View, CA
We are looking for an experienced Microwave Production Manager who likes a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. ViewRay is growing at a fast pace. Reporting to the VP, Manufacturing, the Microwave Production Manager will oversee operation of Viewray's Linac production.

Manage day-to-day operations including internal and outsourced operations for assembly and test of high power microwave devices including medical linear accelerators and related components
Lead and direct activities of the production team of technicians and engineers, to ensure achievement of production and quality objectives
Establish and maintain operational procedures including work instruction documents, process travellers, and procedures for inspection, assembly, test, pack/ship
Implement continuous improvement processes to drive performance and yield to established objectives
Help develop and implement long term manufacturing plans and strategies
Select, qualify and help maintain suppliers for out-sourced processes
Ensure compliance to internal Quality System requirements
Ensure compliance to all applicable local, state, federal and national codes
Education, Experience, Skills
BA/BS in engineering or relevant discipline, or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred
8+ years experience in leading high-power microwave production operations
Knowledgeable and established competency in operations and processes relating to microwave tube production, related components and associated subsystems
Experienced in the use of benchmarking, metrics and continuous improvement methods (six sigma, lean, etc.) to drive improvements in cost, quality and delivery
Proven experience building and leading teams of technicians and engineers strong leadership and organizational skills
Knowledge and experience working in a regulated environment, preferably medical/FDA
Creative, flexible, and collaborative in approach to technical problem solving
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Ability to work effectively with physicists, scientists, and engineers in a fast-paced environment
