Microsoft Sr. Developer & Business Applications Consultant

Terrace Consulting is searching for a passionate Microsoft Sr. Developer and Business Applications Consultant with Microsoft Azure, .NET, SQL Server and Functional Business Applications Knowledge and Skills.

Our team is virtual and limited to residents of California, Washington, Oregon, Nevada and Arizona ONLY. Most work is performed virtually with some client site travel required.

This is a FT W-2 position.

Requirements

Your Technical Profile:

• 4-7 years of experience with designing and coding custom .NET applications (Cloud and On Prem)

• Experienced in core Microsoft technologies to include Azure, C#, JavaScript, .NET, .NET core, SQL server, Visual Studio/VS Code, Power BI, T-SQL
• Experience with additional languages and frameworks preferred (Angular, Bootstrap, Python, Java, R)
• Experienced developing for one or more of the major cloud service providers (Azure, AWS, GCP)

• A "Problem Solver" who inspires business processes and technology collaboration
• Strong knowledge of the functional operations of the applications and business processes at the core of every enterprise business
• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information science, business administration
• Demonstrated experience collaborating with business stakeholders and end users through the process of building modern technology solutions.

What You’ll Do: 

• Work in a team designing and developing Microsoft .NET / Azure business applications
• Communicate clearly and effectively with clients in a business centric, functionally driven, and outcome-oriented fashion
• Work in an AGILE methodology utilizing standard SCRUM tools including JIRA and Confluence
• Learn from the best cloud first enterprise design and development team in Northern California
• Develop relationships with our clients and employees by joining a project team for the entirety of the project
• Be exposed to multiple industries, clients, and technologies

Competitive Compensation - $150k to $180k annually - based on experience.
