Overview

This role is responsible for building Veeam's alliance with Microsoft, focused on developing and executing joint product and program strategies. In this role you will establish and grow business and technical relationships across Microsoft and the Microsoft partner ecosystem to drive top line Veeam revenue growth and market adoption.

Responsibilities

  • Builds and executes area business and marketing plans aligned with Veeam's overall corporate direction.

  • Collaborates with regional Partner Team Unit to build partner plans consistent with the Enterprise Partner Group in an effort to maximize Microsoft and Systems Integrators investment within a designated region.

  • Establishes and maintains Microsoft and field cadence across the Enterprise Partner Group (EPG) and its subsidiaries (i.e., Partner Team Unit, Account Team Unit, and Specialist Team Unit).

  • Responsible for SCOM partner recruitment and cultivation.

  • Develops and maintains Microsoft Technology Centers (MTC) team relationship; maximizes MTC usage by providing briefings, proofs of concept and marketing support; manages and distributes MTC leads.

  • Maximizes ROI within the EPG and achieves appropriate partner alliances within Veeam based on metrics and goals established quarterly.

  • Utilizes a feedback mechanism to determine program success; tracks, measures and reports on success to Veeam management.

  • Participates in Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) to present current state, financial and program history, future endeavors, and general information.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required (a combination of education and experience will be considered)

  • Five to ten (5-10) years of solutions selling, channel, alliance and business development experience.

  • Must have experience working with Microsoft.

  • Experience working with VMware, HP, and Dell desired.

  • Must be knowledgeable of virtualization technology and understand MS System Center and Hyper-V.

  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently with limited direction in a fast-paced environment; must be a high-energy, motivated self-starter.

  • Ability to adapt to changes in roles and responsibilities.
