GENERAL SUMMARY: Works within the framework of established operating procedures and in close cooperation with internal and external support personnel to help modernize workplace productivity.# Responsible for installing, supporting and maintaining Microsoft 365 (M365) applications and related systems, while responding to service outages and other problems as they occur.# Receives technical guidance from the Senior Microsoft 365 Administrator and works closely with the user community to identify and resolve system and network problems.


PRINCIPAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

*Creates and develops software packages and scripts to install, update and maintain software packages on workstations. Researches specifications and makes recommendations of systems and related hardware devices and software. Effectively uses project management tools and methodologies.

Works with departmental staff to create processes and standards to deploy new technologies. Develops, coordinates and implements schedules with vendor and users of applications to achieve a successful implementation process; works with vendors to troubleshoot and solve technical problems. Assists in the testing and documentation of new and updated software to ensure quality control and performance standards are met. Provides ongoing second and third level support of M365 systems. Deploys and configures M365 applications, including SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, and other associated services. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to design and implement customized M365 solutions to meet business needs. Engages with business stakeholders to maximize the utilization of M365 tools to enhance business workflows and processes. Develops, maintains, and updates M365 governance documentation. Works closely with the IT Cyber Security team, prioritizing safety of the firm#s people, systems and content. Identifies potential points of integrations between M365 and other platforms, and works with technical colleagues to deliver key integrations. Implements compliance and enforces ownership of applications and site content with stakeholders. Provides regular feedback to management regarding M365 system administration issues; advises management of new developments in hardware, software, systems administration, systems optimization and systems management related to the M365 platform. Enters restricted access areas, without supervision, to perform assigned work. Maintains professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations to keep abreast of latest trends in field of expertise. Participates in meetings, committees and department projects as assigned. Performs other related projects and duties as assigned. #(Essential Job functions are marked with an asterisk ##. Knowledge of application configuration and implementation. Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server administration, MS Windows and MS Office. Knowledge of SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive, and other Microsoft 365 applications. Knowledge of basic scripting using PowerShell Knowledge of network design, IP protocol suite and network devices. Knowledge of PC configurations and troubleshooting MS Windows workstations. Knowledge of Exchange Online. Ability to identify and evaluate alternative and innovative solutions to problems. Ability to create appropriate network and systems documentation. Ability to establish and manage priorities. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Ability to interact effectively with clients, coworkers and vendors having a broad range of computer knowledge and ability. Ability to grasp complex technical and business systems, processes and principles across IT functions and relationships in support of organizational goals. Ability to problem solve and engage independent critical thinking skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality relevant to sensitive information. Ability to prioritize work demands and work with minimal supervision. Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:


Associate#s degree in Computer Science or equivalent field of study required. Bachelor#s degree preferred. Required minimum of two (2) years of experience in the analysis, design, implementation, support and maintenance of computer systems required. # OTHER CREDENTIALS / CERTIFICATIONS: Must have internet connectivity off-premises in order to respond to work requests when necessary. Per leader#s discretion # If assigned to drive Bryan owned vehicles, a valid driver#s license and verification and maintenance of responsible driving record per facility standards required.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Under the Nebraska Radiation Control Act governing the Gamma Knife, employees in this job description are required to be deemed trustworthy and reliable.# The information required includes identity verification, a background check, employment and education history. This position is responsible for working with all assigned areas, including all entity locations.#Regular Travel (including overnight) may be required based on the needs of the organization.
