CGI is seeking a Microservices /API Lead for an exciting opportunity to augment your current skill as well as learn new technologies.

By working both at the keyboard coding and shoulder-to-shoulder with customers evaluating architectural choices, you will help bridge the gap between business and technology. You will work closely with product manages, technology leaders and users.
Your future duties and responsibilities
Designing & building complex, scalable, high volume, low latency Enterprise Java applications
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Deep experience in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Security, API, RESTful APIs.
Experience across Microservices Architecture and API driven Architecture.
Produce architecture and high level design to the requirements.
Produce Proof of Concepts (POC) to fit in business requirement.
Hands-on experience in building complex, scalable, high volume Enterprise Java applications
Contribute to driving architecture strategy to keep it aligned with the enterprise architecture.
Experience on Docker or Kubernetes or similar Microservices deployment
Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD process and pipelines
o Microservices: 5+ years
o Web Services: 5+ years
o Java/ J2EE: 7+ years
o Spring: 7+ years
o PL/SQL: 5+ years
Experience on programming languages such as NodeJS, Go and Scala will be an added advantage
Experience on Kafka and Spark will be an added advantage
Experience on NoSQL databases
Education: Bachelor's Degree in CS, Information Systems, Engineering or related field
