Microbiology Lab Technician

Golden Valley, MN Hours/Schedule: Mon- Fri 7-3 / 8-4 Type: Contract Overview Join a multinational food company that manufactures and sells branded processed foods in retail stores.

Responsibilities Facilitate analytical testing for Medallion Provide support and flexibility related to the analysis of samples for Medallion Labs Document results and review data Investigate any technical discrepancies on a timely basis Develop a strong knowledge of the analytical methods being used to analyze samples Requirements 1-3 Years of Experience at a Microbiological lab. Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiologic or related field - REQUIRED. Knowledge of microbiological plating techniques Basic lab skills including aseptic technique, pipetting, and serial dilutions Knowledge of laboratory quality systems, statistics, and document control.

ISO 17025 experience preferred.
