Summary:

The Business Development Manager ("BDM") is responsible for maintaining and developing new business with manufactured housing retail owners, managers, and salespeople.

The BDM position requires sales experience, an outgoing/people smart personality; excellent verbal and written communication skills; as well as a complete and thorough knowledge of the day-to-day MH Consumer/SLG programs, UW guidelines, pricing, programs, culture, policies, and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assess market potential/strategies and business growth plan for new territories/states

  • Identifying good MH Retailer operations in targeted states

  • Develop and maintained training materials for dealers. Via flyers, online seminars, emails and in person

  • Develop marketing flyers and obtain compliance approval

  • Work along side Marketing to develop digital marketing and maintain social media

  • Develop and establish rapport with targeted retailers

  • Support Directors as needed

  • Solicit new business to targeted dealers

  • New dealer/relationship sign-ups

  • Develop and maintain CRM for dealers and MH clients

  • Paperwork related to start/maintain business relationships with retailers

  • Maintain excellent relationship with all signed-up retailers and associations

  • Train dealers on new regulation, MHR programs, pricing and processes

  • Reach/maintain a high percentage of success with set quarterly goals

  • Represent FB/MH Consumer in conventions and meetings

  • Assist remarketing and servicing teams when on the field

  • Other duties as assigned

  • Traveling it is required in this position sometimes as much as 2 weeks out of the month.

Education and/or Experience

College degree in business or marketing it is preferred

  • Digital marketing. This includes not only email, social media, and web-based advertising, but also text and multimedia messages as a marketing channel.

  • Ability to demonstrate the highest level of ethical behavior and confidentiality and maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.

  • Respectful demeanor toward other associates and managers that promotes a positive and professional work environment.

  • Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.
