A high caliber individual with a proven track record ready to run and grow operations to support our North America Customers' capital equipment installation and support network
As the North America Workforce Planning Manager, you will be responsible for day-to-day operations required to deliver our customer's production ramp to plan, manage our cost commitments to the company and provide direct operational support to the Regional Operations Executive to meet our Strategic and Annual Operating Plan objectives. Core responsibilities include:
Manage and lead the Workforce Planning team.
Lead account teams to deliver predictable results by optimizing resource modeling to support customer demand with field service resources.
Drive compliance with established resourcing model and related labor reporting policies.
Responsible for regional forecast accuracy for resource budgets, resource utilization, and regional operating expenses.
Execute to regional field service and process engineer headcount plan of record.
Partner with Account Teams and central ramp planners to ensure regional plans are in place to support customer ramps
Champion and develop Lam culture and Lam Management Systems (LMS) across the organization.
Architect effective improvements to business processes.
What You'll Do
Serve as the single point of accountability for operational and financial performance
Drive a culture of rigorous continuous improvement by identifying positive disruptive change opportunities
Identify business, operational, and financial risks and implement mitigation plans
Use rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions.
Lead operational LMS reviews (QCR, QFR, QOR); ensure transparency of organization and program performance
Routinely required to make ad-hoc decisions with limited information
Who We're Looking For
7 years of experience leading teams in a high-tech industry, preferably with a minimum of 3 years in management roles
Familiarity with a product line operational functions including finance, install base management, workforce planning and organizational management
History of driving predictable business results: making aggressive commitments and meeting them
High aptitude with business processes and operational execution
Excellent leadership and communication skills; bias to action
Adaptable, flexible, and versatile leader with strong analytical capabilities
Operational background preferred
Able to lead & influence technically strong employees
Preferred Qualifications
Education: BS/BA, MBA preferred
Operations background, preferably in semiconductor industry with Etch and Deposition product and process knowledge

'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
