Mission Systems (NGMS) seeks a talented professional to join the E&S team in Boulder, Colorado to fill a Systems Engineering Manager Level 3 positions for the Engineering Manager supporting the OPIR Exploitation System Operating Unit
What You'll Get to Do:

Interfacing with customer and Air Force leads on issues related to operating unit activities
Supporting special assignments within the operating unit for operations, program assessments, and development of
Provide day to day engineering management leadership and support to further the mission vision of the operating unit director.
Over see quick-turn program analytic and decision support to senior operating unit leadership.
The selected candidate will have in depth engineering and project management experience, a clear understanding
of the concepts and solutions and the ability to clearly communicate complex topics within and external to the operating unit and the customers. Provide leadership for support and adherence to standard DoD program processes and the oversight of cost, schedule, and technical quality for execution on supported programs.
The successful candidate will clearly demonstrate strong leadership and team skills to achieve sustainable top performance for the operating unit. The candidate will have a track record as an effective communicator and problem solver who is able to develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. This candidate will demonstrate the capability to innovate while challenging traditional ways of doing business. Demonstrated abilities to build diverse and inclusive teams with high levels of engagement. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required and the ideal candidate will have demonstrated success collaborating and leading virtually as a part of a geographically dispersed team.

Bachelor degree with a minimum of 12 years engineering experience; 10 years with Masters; 8 years with PhD
Proven experience in an engineering discipline
Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain an SCI and maintain a TS/SCI.
Experience with program planning/scheduling, cost analysis/reporting, earned value management systems (EVMS), risk & opportunity (R&O) management, control account management (CAM), and proposal development
Experience with working customer operations, leadership with planning, execution of engineering functions
Experience with on-site customer support, acting as liaison between program and customer
Ability to interface with all levels of employees and management.
Active TS/SCI Clearance with the ability to maintain.
Strong analytic capabilities
