Responsible for managing accounts in ND,SD, MN, IA, IL, WI, MI, IN and OH to maximize all sales opportunities and meet territory revenue and profit targets. Generate sales by creating and maintaining positive and influential relationships with key customer representatives within assigned territory. Utilize 80/20 toolbox to effectively manage breadth of territory, driving growth of revenue and operating profit for the business. Utilize strategic selling skills to access appropriate decision-making level within customer and position McNeilus as preferred aftermarket parts and service provider. Ability to leverage decision making skill set and take appropriate risks to achieve required performance metrics.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop strategy for managing the territory, including identifying customers and opportunities. Build and execute strategies to win majority of opportunities.
Manage territory effectively to maximize efficiency and sales success. Plan coverage of region based on current and future customer locations, calling upon key accounts as needed.
Grow market share through aggressive pursuit of sales opportunities, including driving opportunities through to completion.
Generate new leads through use of all available tools, including internal and external relationships, product and opportunity knowledge, and understanding of key regional market trends.
Build effective relationships with territory customers at all necessary levels. Work closely with manager and fleet account manager on building relationships within national accounts.
Establish relationships internally to help deliver an exceptional customer experience, meeting customer expectations and quickly resolving customer issues while always balancing customer and organizational needs.
Help develop message and participate in key industry trade shows as needed. Assist in measuring messaging impact within territory.
Maintain and enforce use of the company contact management tool while leveraging database to execute sales objectives
Efficiently manage travel and entertainment expenses, providing good stewardship of company resources and assets.
Travel to visit customers to maintain direct view of market conditions and customer specific issues.
Maintain performance in accordance with corporate policy and effectively demonstrate the Oshkosh Corporation Core Competencies.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience
Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, preferably in a territory sales role
7-10 years of sales experience, including proven track record of territory sales growth
Understanding and/or experience within concrete industry
Knowledge of 80/20 business model concepts
Demonstrated capability within Microsoft Office Suite of Programs including Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to travel up to 60-75% - as needed primarily within region
