The Regional Manager of Inflight Services is directly responsible for the performance of base leadership. The role will provide oversight in the day-to-day needs, performance and safety of Allegiant Flight Attendants with an emphasis on the organizations mission and values. This will be accomplished by monitoring, guiding, coaching, and counseling base leadership on the development areas of work performance, safety, appearance, conduct, dependability, and attendance to achieve a consistent and superior level of Inflight service.   • Promote a safety culture

  • Lead initiatives to achieve on-time performance goals set for your base/region

  • Execute daily, weekly, and monthly operational plans. This role is accountable as the hands-on leader for department operations across all shifts, regardless of standard work hours

  • Handles management of front-line departmental personnel including working with corporate Human Resources in the areas of recruitment, retention, termination, training, performance management, and corrective counseling

  • Participate, when necessary, in fact-finding, investigation, and grievance meetings/process

  • Manage projects and initiatives on behalf of Inflight

  • Represent Inflight in cross-departmental meetings and takes ownership of operational functions/projects

  • Knowledgeable of key department metrics and performance indicators and the department's performance relative to them

  • Provide guidance and interpretation on contract language to front-line leaders

  • Other duties as assigned

What are the minimum requirements to be a Regional Mgr, Inflight Services?

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Aviation Management, or equivalent field required

  • Three (3) to five (5) years' experience as a Flight Attendant required

  • Three (3) to five (5) years' experience in progressive leadership required

What other skills, knowledge, and qualifications are needed to be a Regional Mgr, Inflight Services?

  • Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) knowledge

  • Responsible for taking and maintaining Allegiant Flight Attendant training

  • Managing in a Union environment

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with diverse groups of people

  • Ability to work autonomously in an entrepreneurial environment

  • Time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities at once, maintaining a positive work environment

  • Proficient with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Work, Excel, and PowerPoint)

  • Must pass a ten (10) year back-ground check and pre-employment drug screen

  • Must have authorization to work in the US as defined in the Immigrations Act of 1986

  • Must possess a valid passport

  • No visa sponsorship is available for this position

  • Travel is required

What are the physical requirements of a Regional Mgr, Inflight Services?

Ability to work in an office environment, with work onboard an aircraft and ability to meet all physical requirements of the Flight Attendant position

This role supervises, motivates, and coaches Flight Attendants to ensure individual growth and performance. The Inflight Supervisor actively and consistently enforces Federal Aviation Regulations as well as the Company's policies and procedures. This role also collaborates with other departments to ensure the highest level of safety, efficiency, and overall success of the Company and Team. Key Responsibilities: * Support: Be the ultimate resource for flight attendants by being the liaison between the flight attendants and all other departments. * Daily Operations Performance: Achieve and improve performance of daily operations by monitoring flight attendant show times to make sure the full crew is present, spending time in the concourse, and acting as support to Spirit airport personnel and crew scheduling. Effectively handle daily operational issues while keeping up with required office work. * Accountability: Responsible for tracking attendance, issuing discipline, and issuing resolution letters in a fair, consistent, and timely manner. Must meet deadlines governed by the contract and/or employee handbook. * Regulatory: Have an intermediate understanding of all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations and how they apply to our daily operations. * Policies/Procedures: Advanced understanding and enforcement of Company policies/procedures as well as the Inflight Performance Management Policy. * Compliance: Conduct random checks for flight attendant adherence to policies and procedures. * CBA: An intermediate understanding of all contractual obligations. * Flight Attendant: Mastery of a Flight Attendant's role and daily job duties. * May perform other responsibilities as assigned. Responsibilities and duties may change when circumstances dictate. (e.g., emergencies, changes in workload, rush jobs or technical developments). Required skills/experience: * Ability to maintain current Spirit Airlines Flight Attendant Certification. * 2+ years' experience as a Flight Attendant. * At least 1 or more years of prior management experience. * Must be able to adapt to various work schedules and times to support Spirit Airlines' operation. * Thorough knowledge of Microsoft products such as Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as a thorough knowledge of Citrix. * High School Diploma required, Bachelor's degree preferred. * Ability to sit, stand and move throughout office/airport for extended periods of time. * Please be advised that you will be asked to complete a required assessment to be considered for this position.
