The Global Supply Chain team is responsible for working closely with suppliers across the world to ensure we deliver affordable, high-quality parts that meet our customer's dynamic needs.

The Large Rotating parts Value Stream team is seeking an experienced supply chain professional to manage product and delivery of large machined parts in support of multiple engine platforms. We are seeking a candidate that possesses strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, and challenging environment. This position will have high customer visibility.

The candidate should possess strong project management skills, be well organized, and employ robust time-management skills. A successful Account Specialist will be expected to employ all of these attributes to execute alignment of both internal functional groups and external suppliers to meet and exceed the objectives of the value stream.

This role will require strong organizational and motivational skills in accomplishing both the tactical daily/weekly execution of part delivery and problem resolution, as well as developing and monitoring long-term capacity and ramp plans with suppliers.

The role will focus on the elements of:

  • Procurement of large machined parts for a variety of Pratt & Whitney engine programs

  • Supplier management of on-time delivery, leading indicator metrics, and capacity ramp plans

  • Optimization of supplier capabilities and resources to support current production and new engine products

  • Cross functional coordination between Quality, Materials, Continuous Improvement, Production Readiness, Engineering, MCL, ESA, and multiple suppliers and partners

The Account Specialist is responsible for all aspects of supplier relationships, including quality, delivery, cost, inventory, and customer satisfaction. The candidate will also be expected to conduct standard product purchasing, including order placement, coordinating demand and scheduling, supplier relationship management, and delivery assurance. As an Account Specialist, the candidate will be expected to comply with all aspects of the P&W Procurement Manual, GSC Standard Work, UTC Code of Ethics, International Trade Compliance, & Transition Standard Work (TSW).


Required Qualifications:

Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, Supply Chain or related field

7+ years of Operations, Business, Supply Chain or Engineering experience

US Citizen due to government contracts

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in a supply chain or project management role

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Project management experience and or certification

Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to work in a global supply chain

Proven ability to communicate throughout all executive and non-executive levels of the organization

Competent with Microsoft Office tools

Energetic self-starter, effective leading cross functional teams

Working knowledge of SAP

Travel requirements average around 10% annually

Education Certification

Required- Bachelor's Degree

Preferred- Advanced Degree

At the direction and delegation of the Store Manager, the Assistant Store Manager assists with supervision of store employees, management and presentation of merchandise, completion of paperwork, and preparation of deposits. The Assistant Store Manager also performs stocking and cashiering functions, and performs other duties as necessary to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction while protecting company assets and reducing losses. DUTIES and ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: * Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers, and operate cash register and scanner to itemize the customer's purchase. * Open and close the store a minimum of two days per week. * Assist Store Manager with scheduling employees, providing adequate training for employees, conducting safety meetings, and ensuring employee compliance with company policies and procedures. * Follow company work processes to manage merchandise, including receiving, unpacking, stocking, restocking and rotating merchandise on shelves and building merchandise displays. * Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels by controlling damages, markdowns, scanning, paperwork, and facility controls. * Assist in implementation and maintenance of planograms; ensure merchandise is presented according to established practices and Store Manager direction. * Assist in ensuring financial integrity of the store through strict cashier accountability, key control, adherences to company security practices and cash control procedures; authorize and sign for refunds and overrides, count register tills, and deposit money in bank. * Assist with management of the store in the Store Manager's absence. Qualifications KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS: * Effective interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. * Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of situations. * Good organization skills with attention to detail. * Ability to read and interpret documents such as diagrams, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals. * Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages. * Ability to perform cash register functions and generate reports. * Knowledge of cash, facility, and safety control policies and practices. * Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposit control. * Ability to drive own vehicle to the bank to deposit money.
