ABOUT THE ROLE

The Paid Search Manager holds responsibility for the internal workflow between search and services teams and external experience of key advertising partnerships providing quality assurance, timely launches and operational excellence. The core focus is to oversee workload assignments encompassing daily tasks and objectives to ensure innovative campaigns, high quality performance, flawless execution and raving fan client service. The role is responsible for team building, management, and development including training of each team member, goal setting, and providing ongoing feedback. The Manager will proactively identify gaps in Search processes to aide in driving efficiency of team workload.

This role will work cross functionally with leadership roles within the Media Strategy & Operations team to find efficiencies and integrate digital strategy, as needed. The Manager will also align with other regional Paid Search Managers to share and establish best practices.

Execution of a limited book of business focused on new client onboarding as well as optimization and strategy for client retention is expected.

ABOUT THE TEAM

Centro's Paid Search Team is a specialized group of search engine marketing experts. The team provides full service execution of paid search campaigns including competitor research, keyword development, ad copy, account management, and reporting.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and onboard (if necessary) a team of Paid Search Specialists and Associates by conducting regular 1:1 meetings

  • Prioritize the growth and retention of revenue among existing advertiser accounts

  • Operate in a client facing manner, primarily among existing clients, and work with the Director to ensure the team delivers high levels of client satisfaction

  • Keep pulse on a regional book of business with a high degree of complexity

  • Train and lead the regional team on new product offerings and industry news

  • Evolve the level of account management sophistication. Ensure innovation and adoption of advanced SEM targeting tactics.

  • Manage end-to-end internal SEM account processes

  • Evaluate workload assignments and manage up team needs to Director, as needed

  • Promote a service-oriented mentality within the regional Search team while setting a positive, motivating tone for team culture

  • Support sales initiatives, providing a comprehensive overview of Centro's Search capabilities and recommended strategic tactics

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with Media Strategy & Operations Managers

  • Improve integration of internal teams and highlight team successes internally

  • Collaborate with Director on larger organizational trainings and national team priorities

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years in digital advertising

  • 3+ years' experience in paid search execution

  • 1+ year of management/mentoring experience demonstrating leadership and direction

  • Experience in analyzing internal processes to improve scale and performance

  • Proven expertise of AdWords, AdCenter, and advanced SEM tactics

  • Experience with Kenshoo, DoubleClick Search, or similar bid management technologies

  • Passionate about customer success from every perspective

  • Strong ability to troubleshoot and problem solve

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, under tight deadlines

  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel

  • Exceptional communication skills

  • Demonstrated examples of thought-leadership on KPIs and targeting tactics

  • Experience in managing client relationships and sales development

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES * Actively work with internal teams to ensure campaign success based on KPls * Understand media plan objectives and how Paid Search will affect overall performance of the campaign to help secure future opportunities * Develop keyword builds and provide volume estimates for Search RFP requests * Launch and optimize paid search campaigns across partners like Amazon, Google and Bing * Ensure all accounts pace according to budget and goals * Help mentor associates * Act in a client facing manner when needed for specific campaigns/client requests QUALIFICATIONS * 2+ years of Paid Search experience * Experience executing daily management of campaigns for Paid Search and providing strategic recommendations * Knowledge of third party bid management systems * Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, under tight deadlines * Strong analytical skills * Detail-oriented and organized * Exceptional customer service and communication skills * Working knowledge of Google Adwords, Bing Ads and Editor Tools * Google AdWords certified preferred * Strong excel skills * Agency experience preferred * Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited college or university preferred Centro is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
