Position Title:  Manager, Network and Data Center Delivery Program Management (M2)

Role:

The Manager of Network and Data Center Delivery Program Management will direct and coordinate time-sensitive complex core network and data center infrastructure projects throughout Crown Castle's footprint. You will ensure the successful planning and execution of engineering projects and programs while managing the support of cross-functional stakeholders. The role requires technical knowledge, project management, financial management, and leadership skills to meet organizational objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and provide guidance to the Network and Data Center Project Management team, which is responsible for planning, executing, and thoroughly completing engineering network and infrastructure projects on time and on budget.

  • Collaborate with the team to develop comprehensive project plans to encompassing scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation.

  • Monitor program health, proactively develop mitigation plans when risks are identified, and communicate status to senior management and key stakeholders.

  • Generate reports on financial allocation and tracking, including monthly forecasting.

  • Develop team OKRs that drive KPI results.

  • Develop reports and plans to identify and assess areas of opportunity for improved process efficiencies and performance.

  • Must exhibit the ability to assess the priority and severity of issues by understanding business objectives, technical costs, and user needs, as well as weigh alternatives for resolution.

  • Curiosity, initiative, and drive, along with the ability to quickly learn new technology and a willingness to think strategically and tactically, will be critical to success in this position.

Education/Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

Experience/Minimum Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in telecommunications project management

  • Strong understanding of carrier core network design and delivery (DWDM, Ethernet, OSP/ISP fiber, etc.)

  • Knowledge of data center design and construction is a plus (Generator, HVAC, Fire Suppression, etc.)

  • Proficient in project management tools and methodologies.

  • PMP or other relevant certifications are desired.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills

Working Conditions: This role falls into our hybrid work model, working in the office Monday through Thursday. On Fridays, teammates on the hybrid schedule will have the option to work from the office or home. There is an expectation of collaboration with teammates and stakeholders for moments that matter that could require travel.
