Responsible for all production activities in execution and safety of all phases of Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul, and Conversion (MROC): planning, organizing, scheduling, and contracting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Generally operates with considerable latitude for actions or decisions, independently and on own initiative with minimal supervision from Director of Operations.
Directly leads and manages all Craft Managers.
Responsible for overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of skilled craft departments.
Serves as point of contact for assigned personnel in matters pertaining to recruitment, personnel transactions, disciplinary actions and inter/intra departmental and company transactions.
Evaluates personnel on clear and well-defined objectives in a fair and consistent manner.
Monitors daily weekly targets and resolves constraints.
Ensures crafts complete work within budgeted labor and material costs.
Reviews and approves recommended methods and procedures for improving safety, quality and productivity.
Supports Director of Operation to assure adequate plant facilities and equipment are available and in place to accomplish work associated with each contract.
Ensures operations are conducted safely, and in a manner that protects company assets and the environment.
