Summary

Responsible for all production activities in execution and safety of all phases of Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul, and Conversion (MROC): planning, organizing, scheduling, and contracting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Generally operates with considerable latitude for actions or decisions, independently and on own initiative with minimal supervision from Director of Operations.

  • Directly leads and manages all Craft Managers.

  • Responsible for overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of skilled craft departments.

  • Serves as point of contact for assigned personnel in matters pertaining to recruitment, personnel transactions, disciplinary actions and inter/intra departmental and company transactions.

  • Evaluates personnel on clear and well-defined objectives in a fair and consistent manner.

  • Monitors daily weekly targets and resolves constraints.

  • Ensures crafts complete work within budgeted labor and material costs.

  • Reviews and approves recommended methods and procedures for improving safety, quality and productivity.

  • Supports Director of Operation to assure adequate plant facilities and equipment are available and in place to accomplish work associated with each contract.

  • Ensures operations are conducted safely, and in a manner that protects company assets and the environment.

VIEW JOBS 12/5/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-03-05T00:00 Job Description: As part of Client On-Boarding & Data Governance, this individual will support the Client Onboarding and Data Governance Production Support and Platform Quality Team. This individual will provide level – two support with technology issues related to client profiling, account opening & maintenance systems in addition to User Acceptance Testing to ensure stability of CODG's core applications. One of the primary responsibilities is managing defects regarding the account opening & maintenance applications. This will include providing analytical research and in-depth analysis on error messages or other issues occurring within the user applications, including Enterprise Account Opening (EAO), Client Profile (CP), Data Refresh Dashboard (DRD), Master Profile Data Governance User Interface (MP DGUI) and Legacy Mainframe (KD, PATH, DQ, LK, IK). Additional responsibilities include coordinating with Technology in addressing defects associated to each Technology release, including the pre-release and post-release fixed defect validation process, and the full post release support model and post mortem analysis. Some Production Support responsibilities are listed below: * Review each defect to ensure that all pertinent information is included in the defect * Investigate to determine if the issue is caused by user error or if a workaround is available for the issue * Investigate to determine if the issue was previously reported and to provide the resolution of the issue, if available * Obtain any pertinent information missing to enable the respective technology teams to investigate and resolve the issue * Once the defect is assigned to a technology team, ensure the requestor receives timely updates on the status of the issue resolution * Provide the resolution to the requestor and confirm the resolution resolves the reported issue in varying levels of technical terms * In cases where the resolution is dependent on a technology release, test the resolution in the testing environment and validate again in the production environment after the release * Works with Client Account Services (CAS), Retirement Distribution Services (RDS), PBIG and others to review requests related to Tier II escalation. * Monitor the Production Support Inbox for incoming request. * Handle Mass Deletion, Single Profile Deletion, Legacy, CP, EAO and other issues/platforms. * Test defects and Regression Validations in Production/Release weekend. * Formulate Communication Plans to reach out to the field, notifying of defects and resolutions. Responsible for the analysis and resolution of moderately complex operations problems and initiatives requiring exception handling and working with multiple operational and/or product specialists to resolve. May participate in projects and/or introduction of new initiatives, systems, products/services and processes. As a technical expert, acts as a unit advisor providing technical support to less experienced associates. This role typically requires 3+ years experience in operations functions and a thorough working knowledge of the operational aspects of transactions and products.
