Location: Office Based position in Fort Worth, Texas
The Manager II, Care Center position is responsible for providing supervision and leadership to the administrative and non-physician clinical staff of a large care center. This role within CareMore performs the responsibilities of a medical assistant on a limited basis (20% or less of their time).
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Implement and monitor operational/office policy and procedures.
Ensure office processes are efficient, supports the care center, and enhances patient satisfaction and retention.
Analyze daily office operations and utilization of resources.
Maintain appropriate staffing levels and morale.
Interact with regional manager to facilitate office operations to meet company objectives.
Conduct monthly staff meetings.
Hire, train, coach, counsel, and evaluate performance of direct reports.
May perform lab audits and calibration on lab equipment.
May conduct phlebotomy; immunizations/injections
Will occasionally go out on mobile visits to a patient's home; and may have to attend national meetings as needed
A high school diploma or G.E.D. is required.
Must have a minimum 3 years of experience in a physician office including working knowledge of managed care and Fee-For-Service reimbursement requirements.
Medical Assistant Certification or related clinical experience is required.
An active, unrestricted LPN or LVN license in the state of Texas is highly preferred.
Supervisory or management experience in a physician office setting is highly preferred.
Knowledge and experience with the Medicaid population is preferred.
Clinical bilingual English/Spanish speaking skills desired.
Experience and knowledge of Medical Equipment (EKG; ABI); POCT (Point of Care Testing); Medication Refills is preferred.
Satisfactory completion of a Tuberculosis test is a requirement for this position.
