Raytheon Missile Systems is seeking a highly qualified, results driven Tool Fabrication Shop Manager who will lead a group of approximately 30 hourly non-exempt machinists. The successful candidate will manage all aspects of staffing, training, budgets, schedules and capital equipment improvement justifications. Must be customer focused and driven to meet on-time delivery commitments.
Extensive background in Machine Technologies and Shop Practices
Prioritize project issues and assists in the resolutions process to meet productivity, cost, quality, and organizational goals and contractual delivery requirements

Proven problem solving skills

Excellent interpersonal and teaming skills
Ability to develop scheduling & tracking methodologies
Ability to develop performance matrix pertaining to Cost, Quality, and Schedule
Ability to grow a collaborative culture with Engineering community
Maintain an audit ready environment
Coordinate on-boarding of new members (Training, Safety, PPV, Operation Policies, Attendance & Timecard, Performance Expectations)
Familiar with Bargain Unit Agreements and maintaining compliance to terms
Ability to Manage approximately 30 employees and coordinating their daily activities
Provide the required resources (facilities, processes, equipment, training, etc.) to ensure all employees work in a safe working environment
Support & Coordination of Daily Standup Meetings
Coordination of "off-hours" support (Overtime & Weekends)
A minimum of 6 years' experience in at least one of the following areas:
Machine Shop fabrication experience
Shop Floor Management
Manufacturing Leadership Position
Experience working in a cross-functional team environment
Knowledge of Shop Floor Management Software & Shop Loading in rapidly changing environment
Knowledge of Quality Standards and Practices
Lean manufacturing application
Knowledge of existing RMS execution systems (PRISM, SAP)
Ability to develop solutions to problems of moderate scope and complexity
Understanding of sequencing for fabrication, assembly, installation, testing and other manufacturing operations relation to specific portion of the product.
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited school.
Additional years of related experience may be considered in lieu of degree requirement
