This role is predominately focused on: BFO Support

The Investment Solutions Group (ISG) finance team is part of the GWIM Finance organization. Within the ISG finance team, the Market finance team's primary focus is to be a key partner and provide strategic finance support to the ISG Markets business supporting capital markets offerings which include equities, fixed income, origination and Market-Linked Investments.

The teammate in this role is responsible for:

  • Overall business support covering all aspects of key financials and metrics which include but are not limited to:

  • Profitability Analysis and reporting

  • Identification and tracking of key business metrics

  • Volcker Metrics and reporting

  • Extensive interaction with traders and support partners

  • towards completion of strategic goals

  • to resolve issues

  • to create or enhance process efficiencies

As part of the responsibilities of the role, the teammate will develop business partner relationships with line of business executives and their support teams - ISG CFO, GWIM Controllers, GBAM Finance, Trade Support, Operations and other organizations supporting Capital Markets Group. Throughout the tenure of the role, the teammate will gain exposure and acumen to complex financial products within Capital Markets, New Issue, Derivatives and Market Linked Investments areas. As a part of the broader Investment Solutions Group finance team, the candidate will have exposure to other aspects of wealth management product/platform offerings and have the opportunity to learn/understand the positioning of the ISG organization within the firm's wealth management business. The teammate will develop and enhance their knowledge in the following areas: business partnering, revenue economics, fee structures and capital markets product knowledge.

Enterprise Role Overview

Responsible for more complex finance activities involving implementation of strategic plans, profitability analysis, forecasting and financial reporting for a line of business. Support achievement of business goals by working on more complex activities or projects with others within the unit and with partners. Lead projects and coordinate resources. Manage partner relationships.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance required; MBA preferable

  • 6 10 years accounting / finance experience

  • Strong business partnering experience / skills including the ability to interact, communicate and influence equally well within all levels of an organization

  • Strong business and financial acumen

  • Highly organized with attention to detail

  • Advanced Excel and Powerpoint skills

  • Experience with complex financial systems such as SAP/eLedger, Oracle, Hyperion, and Essbase
