Mgr Education And Training-Food Services-Ft-1St Shift

Overview

Plans and coordinates educational programs. Responsible for maintaining the standards of FNS talent by providing comprehensive training at the start of and as needed throughout employment. Work closely with department managers and leaders to determine areas for employee improvement, develop training courses for new and existing employees and establish methods to track employee performance during and after the completion of training.

Qualifications

Education required: High school diploma/GED

Education preferred: Degree from an accredited college or university

Experience: Training, education, consulting or processing improvement experience

Additional skills/abilities:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectivley with a wide range of constitencies with diverse backgrounds
• Ability to draw conclusions and make recommendations based on research data and findings
• Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications. Knowledge of communication principles, media, and marketing techniques
• Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities
• Ability to manage and facilitate educational programs
• Ability to analyze FNS department training needs and training effectiveness
