Job Description

The Nature's Bounty Walmart team has a great opportunity for a Customer Development Manager to join them in the Rhode Island area. This role is responsible for the functional management, leadership and execution of all sales related activities for CVS. This individual will support the team with The Nature's Bounty Co. systems (TIM) and with customers systems.

  • Deliver target Budget plan and new product distribution goals.

  • Execute our brand and category growth strategy that align with the customer.

  • Identify new opportunities for growth; develop and implement strategic sales plans in accordance with corporate goals.

  • Maintain clear understanding of customer objectives, and liaise with Customer Business Director to develop operational plans to manage execution and measure results.

  • Relationship management with account cross functional areas, Corporate and divisions. Ongoing meetings and access to buyers/DMM.

  • Foster and grow existing and new relationships within account, gaining a deep understanding of current and potential future needs of our customers.

  • Educate our business partners on our products, retail goals, and measurement of success.

  • Deliver customer presentations that show innovation, shelf positioning, promotions, communicate pricing, etc.

  • Manage daily business in partnership with customers, including: UPC product/item setup, maintenance, logistics and inventory support.

  • Sell-in new products and all promotions to qualified retailers; ensure full-line distribution of products (new & existing items).

  • Work with customers to implement Retail initiatives and monitor Retail standards.

  • Responsible for working with agencies to input Trade Investment Management (TIM): system input, trade fund management, direct sales forecasting and projection activities for the company.

  • Manage Trade budget and monitor spending efficiency that focus on a strong ROI.

  • Monthly reporting, sales analytics and insights; understand go-to-market strategy and how to maximize sales efficiency.

  • Perform other duties as required.

  • P&L management within respective account coverage.


  • 5+ years' experience; minimum 2 years National account sales experience preferred.

  • Sales experience in the Convenience, Grocery, Drug and/or Mass retail channel(s) a plus. Experience with the CVS customer preferred.

  • Experience in consumer goods and Vitamins and supplements is highly preferred.

  • Prior experience using syndicated data to determine customer needs and establish the most effective pricing and promotional activities that will increase sales and market share for the company and its customers.

  • Knowledge regarding Project Management, and experience with setting up and managing projects in a complex, fast-moving environment.

  • Knowledge regarding relationship management, experience and mindset to work with partners in building initiatives that deliver on goals.

  • Strong cross functional relationships with assigned accounts

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)

  • High level of organizational skills, good written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

  • Must be able to multi-task and follow-up when responses are needed

  • The ability to utilize creativity and push beyond the obvious, comfortable going into "unchartered" territory in setting out recommendations, goals

  • Problem solver with a solutions oriented mindset

  • Must be a dynamic leader who can push past obstacles, overcome objections

  • Understand the value of listening to customers, gaining insights and moving objectives forward

  • Must be an articulate communicator who can quickly synthesize data

  • P&L management and strong financial acumen

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field required, MBA a plus.

  • Minimal Overnight travel required

Under the general supervision of the Practice Physician Medical Director and departmental policies the Nurse Care Manager is integrated into the practice-based healthcare team to work in partnership to promote patient-centered care maintaining frequent contact with the primary care providers and medical home team members. The Nurse Care Manager will enhance delivery of care and promote care while actively participating in interdisciplinary patient-centered team meetings and huddles/collaborative care rounds. All essential functions performed in this position reflect the age specific needs of the patients. Responsibilities: Works collaboratively with the care team to identify and case manage patients with a high risk of adverse health outcomes in a primary care setting ensuring open communication patient status with providers and office staff. Sets up and implements primary care medical home model and administers evidence-based healthcare utilizing innovative thinking and understanding of healthcare delivery system access points and services. Facilitates communication between members providers and stakeholders to coordinate and implement action plans aimed at improving the patients� total health and attaining desired patient outcomes. Provides comprehensive screenings assessments care coordination services disease education and self-management support with patients who have chronic health conditions with particular attention to diabetes depression and coronary artery disease in the office or home setting as needed. Provides detailed education to patients about their specific chronic illness including pathology signs and symptoms complications and medications used in treatment. Conducts and/or reviews medication reconciliation and works with provider/team pharmacist as needed to assist with medication management to support patients to enhance medication adherence. Works one-on-one with patients meeting individual healthcare needs; develops a plan of care interventions and treatment goals with patients that promote improved health outcomes and quality of life and reviews with provider and clinical team members. Addresses barriers to optimum patient health; advocate for patients to ensure access and timely service delivery across the continuum of care. Ensures safe effective and efficient care for all patients transferring to home from the Emergency Department; responsible for timely telephonic follow up of complex patients who present to the ED. Utilizes behavior techniques such as motivational interviewing to assist patients with establishing self-management goals and action plans with timeframes. Acting as a liaison coordinates care and performs outreach identifying and utilizing cultural and community resources; providing access to culturally and linguistically appropriate services as needed. Utilizes an interdisciplinary team approach to address opportunities to plan and coordinate care; acts in a supportive capacity to other team members (medical assistants patient service representatives practice managers providers etc.) in supporting patients and their treatment plan. Utilizes the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) chronic disease registry and Current Care reporting to prioritize patient follow-up. Generates quarterly reports on service volume distribution of patients by plan and types of services provided; analyzes data and develops and implements performance improvement strategies to meet and exceed quality of care expectations. Maintains knowledge of contemporary professional nursing practice within the legal framework of Rhode Island Nurse Practice Act.
