The Impact You'll Make

Seeking a high caliber senior manager with a proven track record ready to run and grow operations in a key customer account.

As the Account Operations Manager, you will be expected to provide operational leadership that increases the General Manager's bandwidth to consistently engage at the strategic level with external and internal customers.

Core responsibilities include:

  • Ensures execution through corporate accountability systems and reviews

  • Supports GM in setting stretch objectives aligned to customer business outlook and company strategy.

  • Aligns objectives and cascades across account; owns measurement and accountability systems

  • Ensures adequate RCCA/PS&DMP launched to address material risks to meet objectives

  • Drives predictable financial performance through effective and efficient management of financial reviews

  • Responsible for effective forecasting processes (book, ship, revenue, GM%) and accountable for forecast accuracy (actuals vs. plan)

  • Ensures forecast is updated to reflect material changes within quarter; communicates drivers, impact and mitigation plans

  • Drives accountability to quarterly commitments: P&L, SG&A OpEx, strategic objectives

  • Drives predictable operational performance and is the primary accountability advocate within and across the account

  • Ensures adherence to and adequacy of established business processes

  • Owner for integrating 3yr strategic planning processes within the account. Supports GM in Strategic Account Review planning.

  • Manages Account Team issue resolution and business process integration across geographic regions and corporate functions.

Who We're Looking For

  • 7 years of experience leading teams in a high-tech industry, preferably with a minimum of 3 years in management roles

  • History of driving predictable business results: making aggressive commitments and meeting them

  • High aptitude with business processes and operational execution

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills; bias to action

  • Adaptable, flexible, and versatile leader with strong analytical capabilities

  • Operational background preferred

  • Able to lead & influence technically strong employees

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education: BS/BA, MBA preferred

  • Operations background, preferably in semiconductor industry with Etch and Deposition product and process knowledge

Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories - On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. 'On-site Flex' you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. 'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
