  • Develops a contact list for new business growth opportunities in assigned market or territory

  • Completes daily telemarketing, cold calling and written communications to solicit new business opportunities

  • Completes the design of contracts including: scope of work development, assumption justification, operational plan development and pricing for new business

  • Serves as a resource to solve customer needs including: transportation, rates for additional services and contract interpretation

  • Communicates regularly with assigned customers including: attendance at performance review meetings, process improvement or correction updates, and new business initiatives

  • Bachelor's degree from a 4 year college or university

  • Minimum 4 to 7 years related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and training

  • PC proficiency to include Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the health plan market and the ability to implement and manage growth initiatives, strategic partnerships, sales, and deal execution. Responsibilities * Supporting business development efforts through growing and utilizing knowledge of naviHealth's technologies and solutions * Developing long-term relationships with prospects and clients built on credibility, trust, and deep understanding of the health plan team's strategic priorities and focus areas * Supporting all aspects of growth for our health plan line of business, including: * Implementing and facilitating solution-specific sales strategy: sales process, pipeline management, customer segmentation, pricing, contracting, and execution * Understanding naviHealth's dynamic marketplace and naviHealth's evolving, innovative portfolio of solutions * Generating leads, coordinating, and participating in sales meetings with prospects * Coordinating technology demonstrations and clinical model reviews with prospects * Attending industry conferences, managing network of health plan contacts, and publicly representing naviHealth to the health plan industry * Collaborating with various departments within naviHealth to execute deals and drive growth, including Analytics, Clinical, Operations, etc. * Partnering with business development support team to execute necessary deliverables including development of PowerPoint presentations, sales materials, and Excel models to support sales efforts * Building understanding of competitive landscape and key market dynamics to inform sales approach and strategy around emerging trends Qualifications * Bachelor's degree required * 6+ years of professional healthcare experience in sales, business development, corporate development, strategy, or similar roles * Graduate degree preferred * Experience working for a top-tier consulting firm or high-growth healthcare services or technology company * Skills to create and deliver professional and compelling presentations * Comfort with financial modeling * Ability to multitask, prioritize, adapt to change, and work well under pressure in an entrepreneurial environment * Strong executive presence * Excellent leadership and influencing skills * Excellent listening and communication skills * Readiness to embrace a fluid, changing, and fast paced environment * Ability and willingness to travel as needed up to 60% About naviHealth Being a pioneer in post-acute management and care transitions with 19 years of experience, naviHealth is uniquely positioned to manage patients, improve clinical and financial outcomes, and share risk with payors and providers.
