Program Manager Job Description

The Frontier Funding and Grant Program Manager will be responsible for organizing programs and activities for our organization resulting in the management, organizing and reporting of all funding and grant programs available to our commercial clients at state and federal levels. The PM will be tasked with developing programs to support the organization's strategic direction, as well as creating and managing long term goals all related to maximizing the benefits to our commercial clients in taking advantage of the funding programs available to them. You will also be in charge of business analyst at regional levels in developing leads and operating plans for executing the programs and writing program funding proposals.

In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have prior experience in both program management and team management. A Bachelor's degree is required.

Program Manager Responsibilities

  • Organizing programs and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization.

  • Keeping alerted of all programs related to telecom, equipment and broadband solutions.

  • Developing new programs to support the strategic direction of the organization related to taking full advantage of the funding and grant programs.

  • Creating and managing long-term goals.

  • Developing an operating and communication plan for the program.

  • Developing an evaluation method to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement.

  • Writing program fund proposals to marketing, communication and sales team with approach and education solutions.

  • Analyze and report regional levels progress toward utilization of programs and status toward goals.

  • Managing a team with a diverse array of talents and responsibilities.

  • Ensuring goals are met in areas including customer satisfaction, quality, requirements and team member performance.

  • Implementing and managing changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved.

  • Meeting with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding project issues and decisions on services.

  • Producing accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycle.

  • Analyzing program risks.

  • Working on strategy with the marketing team.

Program Manager Requirements

  • Bachelor degree or master degree in business or related field.

  • Experience in funding and grant application and management.

  • Proven experience in program management.

  • Proven stakeholder management skills.

  • Proven experience managing a team.

  • Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.

  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Understanding of project management.
