Job Description:

Aetna's Corporate Care Management is expanding our Engagement Hub services. The Engagement Hubs are focused on driving member engagement into Aetna's Care Management programs, while also delivering care services to members who do not need long term support but have immediate care needs.

The Manager, Engagement Hub Performance takes multiple and varying steps to detect problems, provide solutions, and optimize our programs and the work performed by our teams. The individual in this role conducts research, analyzes complex data sets and systems, identifies trends, and prepares reports and recommendations in support of the planning, managing, and evaluation of our programs, operations, and processes. The Manager, Engagement Hub Performance is responsible for a small team of Quality and Training Coaches and the overall performance management program, including auditing at both the individual and team level.

This individual in this role is a key player on our leadership team, supporting all areas of our work. An outstanding candidate will demonstrate strong project management, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and consulting skills.

Design, develop, test and validate/verify new reports and tools. Communicate with numerous functional areas to define robust business requirements related to reporting and analytics. A Day in the Life * Manages customer expectations (i.e. balance needs vs. wants) Work with key project stakeholders and business partners to formulate and communicate the business vision for analytic solutions * Develops robust SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) documents for projects—ensures customer needs are clearly defined and agreed to (scope, requirements, specifications, mockups, testing, traceability, support, etc.) * Designs, develops, and tests reports and small systems using approved technologies to satisfy business requirements * Effectively document and communicate decisions, understand customer needs and proactively elicit, capture, and communicate business requirements to meet those needs * Design reporting solutions for a variety of users, include dashboards, ad hoc, and formatted reports. * Able to step in to support troubleshooting as needed and be hands -on * Ability to coordinate with all business teams in standardizing and optimizing the way data/information is stored and retrieved * Develop rich, easy to use, interactive, visually appealing graphics and data visualizations of large amounts of data * Accountability of compliance to quality processes for the Reporting and Analytics team. Review the work of others, signoff off on quality documents, and assist team in overall quality validation tasks. Report status of quality initiatives to management. Should have a passion for quality and clear understanding of how quality directly impacts improving efficiencies. * Validate solutions, designs, and test plans to ensure traceability to business requirements * Preparing project plans and schedules and communicating them to team members * Serve as data analytics consultant to analyze the business requirements and determine the data requirements for operational reporting, dashboards, and metrics * Provide support as required to ensure the availability and performance of developed reports and dashboards for both external and internal users * Provide technical assistance and cross training to other team members Must Have: Minimum Requirements * Bachelors degree required * Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 0 years of experience Nice to Have * Bachelors Degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Business or related field SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED: * Strong knowledge/experience Microsoft Office Suite with BI tools such as (Business Objects, Tableau, Cognos, etc.) * Strong analytical skills * Strong understanding and execution of BA responsibilities e.g. analysis, business requirements, development, customer approvals, negotiating changes in scope. * Ability to develop, highly functional, user-friendly reports and systems that meet business needs * High attention to quality and detail * Strong organizational and prioritization skills * Proficient in written and oral communications needed to be successful in a BA role (ability to translate IT-terminology into layman's terms) * Articulate, assertive, and persuasive with the ability to adapt communication style and approach to audience * Ability to work collaboratively across functions and within a team * Understanding of validation requirements About Medtronic Together, we can change healthcare worldwide.
