Experienced with set up, operation and making program changes of CNC equipment. Fabricate, grind and/or polish precision optics using a variety of equipment. Must be able to verify accuracy of finished product, as well as support process and product development. Focused on fabricating high quality products and quickly meeting customer's needs.QualificationsJob Qualifications * Skilled running glass or ceramic machining equipment * Skilled with optical metrology equipment * Inspecting parts using auto autocollimators and interferometers * Skilled to visually inspect parts for defects * Able to run glass fabrication machinery * Optics handling skills to prevent scratches and defects * Able to work standing in machine tool environment * Willingness to work in multiple areas of concentration ranging from CNC machine operation to delicate hand polishing. * Knowledgeable regarding at least 2 of the following operations/machines:*

* Optics Protection * Scratch-Dig Surface Inspection * Hand Figure Correction * Beveling * Edge Polishing * Metrology * Flat Blocking * Deterministic Polishing * Spindle Grinding and Polishing * Optical CNCs * Master Cam Software * Vericut Software * Minimum 5 years' experience in an optical fabrication production * Experience working on new product introduction programs * Excellent teamwork is a must. * Very good hand to eye coordination * Demonstrate understanding of basic optics technology * Can read and follow written and verbal work instructions and communicate effectively in a team environment.
