Job Purpose
This role is to Lead a team for successful development and launch of New Models to achieve model and business E-A00 targets for MAP Assembly. Lead training develop and tracking of training during T-stage events and into mass production for MAP Assembly department.
Key Accountabilities
Lead department training strategies and targets to meet or exceed project A00's / A0's based on previous model reflections, and MMC direction and targets
Provide Leadership with creation of department training documents, establish standards for Visual Management and Operations Images. PDCA as required.
Provide Leadership for development of New Model Training plan for each Model, present to leadership results for training prior to and during on line try events
Communicate and share information with internal Honda contacts including ADC Tech, ADC Process, Systems, MMC Process, and MMC Paint
Lead and Create/update procedures for management of systems and activity to ensure goals/targets are met during and after NM Events and Activity.
Lead creation of evaluation materials to meet required schedules using standardized formats that accurately represent project status vs the evaluation criteria so that evaluator(s) can make good judgment for Assembly training status.
Monitor daily Safety/Quality production trends and support if necessary.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
2-8 years experience based on education (preferred 2 years in manufacturing environment)
Knowledge of the manufacturing environment & Microsoft Office
Project Management Skills
Ability to: read drawings/flowcharts/specifications; multi-task and prioritize multiple projects and tasks; work in a team environment as well as independently; and present to varying audiences.
Can respond effectively to unusual demands and special projects.
Able to work with a diversity of associates without creating barriers or conflict.

Possible Domestic / International travel required
Overtime is required (~25%) during Event timing
Flexible work hours (possible off shift or weekend work)
