Job Description:
We are seeking Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance Technician to support engineering, production and microelectronic process and equipment. This role is responsible for performing electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the microelectronic manufacturing process. Has substantial understanding of the job and applies knowledge, advance equipment training in various area and skills to complete a wide range of tasks. Work is done independently with minimal supervision


Requirement:
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

Minimum Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience with electronic assembly processes for SMT CCAs as well as microelectronic assembly processes for MCMs (Multi-chip module) and Hybrids

  • The hands-on experience on flip chip assembly, compression molding and transfer molding, underfill process, die attach, wire bonding process are preferred

  • Experience with SMT equipment and process, Stencil & Screen Printing and Solder re-flow equipment and processes

  • Good communication skills including the ability to deliver effective presentations to peers, management and customers

  • Demonstrated ability to find root cause of manufacturing process problems, workmanship defects and test failures

  • Ability to utilize mathematics, handbook formulas, and a variety of precision measuring instruments

  • Ability to understand maintenance manuals and engineering sketches

    Preferred Qualifications:
  • AA degree in electronics technology or equivalent training and experience, such as military training
    Preferred Additional

    Skills:
  • PLC programming, AutoCAD, tooling design, High Mix-Low Vol experience is a plus
    Education:

  • Required: Associate's, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
