As a(n) Metro Employment Case Manager (Support Services/Imaging Specialist Coordinator) you will:
Assists program participants in developing vocational goals reflective of their skills, capabilities and interests. Manages participant progress towards achieving goals by creating and updating plans.
Meets with participants to identify barriers to employment and develop strategies to manage these issues.
Maintains complete, accurate and timely case notes and related records in manual and or electronic systems.
Outreach to referrals who fail to show for appointment.
Create update and ensure completion of plans according to contract deadlines.
Attends scheduled supervision meetings to discuss participants progress.
Other duties as assigned
Bachelor's degree in related field or a satisfactory equivalent of education and experience
Strong communication skills
Knowledge about community resources.
Able to work with and relate to participants and be culturally sensitive.
Strong organizational skills.
Must be computer literate and have MS Word and Excel skills at minimum, and the ability to learn specialized databases and software systems
Bilingual a plus
The Employment Case Manager (ECM) Supportive Services/Imaging Specialist Coordinator will assists the Welfare-To-Work (WTW) Team and be responsible for preparing documents for imaging, imaging documents, and linking the documents to a case accurately and timely. The ECMSSISC will have extensive knowledge of CPG (CalWORKs Program Guide), ResCare SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), and the ECM role; with the ability to obtain high Quality Assurance Scores. Responsible for assembling and preparing confidential documents as needed. The ECMSSISC will also have a working knowledge of ResCare WORCs, the Post 24MTC, EWE/WEX report, and how to initiate child care payments (27-128). The ECMSSISC will have the ability to pay attention to detail to avoid overpayments, as well as, the ability to analyze plans and alert the Program Supervisor when something questionable is discovered. The ECMSSISC will contain the ability to lead and teach soft skills to the WEX/EWE population using the Servant Leadership style, LEGACY, and RAYS.
