Our advisor development program is an award-winning program[1] for professionals who wish to build a wealth management business. The program is designed to help you come up to speed quickly as a successful financial advisor. We'll help you develop the critical skills and knowledge necessary for establishing a robust wealth management businessacquiring clients, developing relationships, providing tailored strategies and more.

You will also be able to use the deep resources and full capabilities of both Merrill Lynch and Bank of America. Compensation and program benefits:

  • Base salary through the full 43 months with bonus potential

  • Preparation for registration exams, including Series 7 and Series 66

What you'll do:

As a Merrill Lynch Financial Advisor, you will leverage your Merrill Lynch support team to help your clients pursue and meet their goals.

Your responsibilities are, but not limited to:

  • Developing and/or growing a book of business to meet and exceed pre-defined goals

  • Effectively sourcing prospective clients

  • Recommending investment products and services that are suitable for prospects and clients based on their goals

  • Balancing investment management, sales activities, and new client development

  • Establishing and maintaining a relationship with the management team to effectively deliver reports and receive mentorship

Cost Optimization is the practice of fully unlocking the full economic power of the AWS Cloud by designing cloud-native architectures, leveraging cloud-pricing, and establishing the operational processes and teams to succeed at scale. The Cloud Financial Management Community Communities Business Development Manager will be responsible for managing communities of passionate, like-minded subject matter experts focused on promoting the economic success of AWS customers through Cloud Financial Management ("CFM") and Cost Optimization. We're looking for a hands-on and motivated self-starter who's passionate about working cross-functionally across teams to help drive coordination of internal initiatives, promote communication and knowledge management, and drive enhanced reporting and metrics capabilities. As the Community Program Manager you will have the exciting opportunity to lead various internal teams through coordination of internal resources, trainings, and event planning. You will act as the lead for the CFM Community to help ensure internal teams have access to trainings, resources, and product updates to ensure consistent messaging and customer success. This work will include working with regional teams to schedule and coordinate the delivery of internal trainings and marketing events. You will be single point of contact for collecting and curating product feedback, responsible for driving awareness of new releases, and reporting metrics and KPIs for leadership. He/she will be an experienced operations and program manager with track record of working cross functionally and coordinating across large numbers of stakeholders and global teams. He/she will have superb communication and customer-relationship skills, outstanding analytic insight, and be a passionate advocate for AWS customers to other internal parties. Active collaboration with leadership in WW Business Development, Sales, Commerce, Support, and product teams will be crucial to the effective execution of this role. He/she will drive towards simple, scalable solutions to difficult problems, have excellent project-management skills, and be able to communicate complex topics, both written and verbally, in a clear and easy-to-understand way.
