Job Summary:

We are seeking applicants for an M&A Manager reporting into the SVP, Head of Strategy, M&A and Investments

The M&A Manager is a key team member in the development and execution of corporate strategy and different strategic transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and investments. This individual will primarily support Caesars' sourcing and evaluation of inorganic growth opportunities as a means to deliver against our strategic architecture.

Key activities include:

The role requires working directly with the Mergers & Acquisitions team and key business stakeholders to:

  • Rapidly understand the challenges and opportunities facing the company and constructively add to the dialogue and debate on the deal/project team

  • Participate in annual strategic planning process to evaluate market trends, company performance, positioning, opportunities, and resource allocation

  • Support development of the overall inorganic growth strategy, including landscape analysis and target identification

  • Work closely with the deal leadership team to support a wide range of strategic initiatives including acquisitions, equity investments, joint ventures, and divestitures

  • Responsible for day-to-day project leadership, including management of business valuation, due diligence activities, and internal communication

  • Provide support for deal processes, including deal structuring and contract negotiations

  • Communicate on a regular basis with the deal teams regarding ongoing projects and actively seek advice and guidance from more senior team members where appropriate

  • Interface with external parties such as investment banks, legal firms, consultants, accountants, etc. throughout the origination and transaction process

  • Recruit, develop, manage, train, and inspire team members

Qualified candidate will need to be an experienced financial professional with proven leadership skills, technical competency within corporate finance, poses deep functional M&A experience, and have strong executive level communication abilities. She/he needs to excel in a high-transaction volume, tight timeline environment and be able to manage competing priorities and navigate complex, matrixed organizations and stakeholders and needs to be able to be managed by objective. High level of self-sufficiency and ability to work through problems is critical for success.

  • Bachelor's degree from an top-tier university or college in Finance, Accounting or Economic

  • Minimum of [3] years' experience in Finance, M&A, investment banking, private equity, or strategy management consulting, with experience and demonstrated success performing financial modeling, valuations, deal & process leadership and due diligence

  • MBA from leading business school preferred

  • Ability to analyze information, problems, situations, practices or procedures to: define the problem or objective, identify relevant concerns or factors, identify patterns, tendencies and relationships, formulate logical and objective conclusions, recognize alternatives and their implications

  • Strong project management skills. Ability to manage in a fast-changing dynamic environment with many different stakeholders

  • Strong fluency in financial analysis techniques and valuation theory

  • Proven problem solving, conceptual thinking, and analytical abilities

  • Strong executive-level communications skills

  • Ability to work in a cross-functional environment

  • Strong oral and written communications skills

  • Ability to develop, inspire, and motivate deal teams

  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% of the time

  • The ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business

The Driver Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for meeting acquisition goals to ensure overall staffing needs are met in priority markets, ensuring document compliance and making determinations on background screens for prospective Independent Contracted Drivers, and improving the recruitment funnel in general. This position reports directly to the Manager, Driver Acquisition. This position will also work in conjunction with Market Operations and Driver Network Operations teams to ensure that the priority markets are rapidly brought up to acceptable operational levels. Some Challenges You'll Tackle * Improve conversion rate by analyzing recruitment funnel and relieve bottlenecks by communicating with applicants. * Responsible for accurate data entry across all assigned markets * Proactively reach out to applicants that have stalled more than 24 hours to move them through recruitment funnel * Review and make determinations on background screens for prospective contractors * Examine document information submitted for prospective contractors * Assist prospective contractors with the dispute process for background screens * Review and make determinations on subsequent background screens for currently active delivery partners * Assist delivery partners with dispute process for background checks * Request, review, and update delivery partner's required documents (license, insurance) * Work with former partners to get necessary documents for re-engagement You Should Have The ideal candidate must have a proven track record of success and want to grow within a top tech company.
