WANTED: A Merger & Acquisition Analyst support OUSD (R&E). This position requires someone with a Top Secret clearance (SCI eligible). This position is in the Mark Center, Alexandraia, VA.

A week in the life of a Merger & Acquisition Analyst:
Support the protection of the US critical and emergent technologies evaluating mergers, acquisitions, exports and foreign investment in US companies.

Trace transfer of controlled technologies while protecting US national security, foreign policy, and economic interests
Review documents related to export license requests, research associated with the countries and technology/capabilities involved.
When the Scott-Hart-Rodino threshold is met, review the proposed merger and acquisition to ensure the transaction is not going to substantially harm competition in the defense industrial base.
Support review of export control licenses requests, new export administration regulation (EAR) or changes to current EAR, new International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or changes to current ITAR and support the development and implementation of unilateral and multilateral agreements.
Represent OUSD(R&E) in activities related to CFIUS policy, procedures, tools, and support services; serve as primary liaison with OUSD(A&S)/Industrial Policy, and other DoD stakeholders.
Job Requirements
BS degree in Business Related Field.
8-10 years of relevant experience.
Top Secret Clearance (SCI Eligible)
Knowledge of DoD acquisition processes, policies, and guidance
Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills
Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $140,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
