The MHIII-Production Control is primarily responsible for the accurate and efficient operation of the merges and print and apply stations. Associates ensure sorters and printers run correctly and jams or incorrect labels are fixed immediately. Associates may also perform slotting functions if necessary.

This position works Sunday-Thursday from 1:00PM-9:30PM and will include mandatory overtime to include weekends when needed.

  • *Start merge, sorter, and lines and start up and test Fox IV Printers

  • *Move and hand scan cases as needed to ensure merge and sorter runs smoothly.

  • *Handle cases on print and apply research line and correct problems as needed.

  • *Ensure accuracy of merge, sorters, and print and apply stations

  • *Properly follows company and OSHA safety procedures.

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment

  • Ability to read, write, operate RF device, conduct business related mathematics and analyze data as required.

  • Brings problems to the attention of the supervisor, manager, safety director or HR manager.

  • Follows daily procedures and protocols as set forth in job orientations and trainings.

  • All other duties as assigned

VIEW JOBS 12/4/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-03-03T00:00 Position Overview: The MH-III-Merge Operator has a heightened degree of technical understanding and is primarily responsible for managing, and actively controlling, the flow of freight over the conveyance networks throughout the warehouse. Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to, the Transition points between the Modules and the Tilt Tray Merge (TTM), the TTM itself, the Print & Apply (P&A), Direct to Consumer (DTC), and Pick from Reserve (PFR) labeling stations, the Receiving Sorter, and transition of conveyance into the Shipping Sorter. Each area of responsibility is filled by at least one associate for a weeklong period, and all positions are cycled through on a rotational basis; start time varies, dependent upon the position held for the week, and warehouse require. This position also affords the opportunity to operate several different types of machines within the facility for the purpose of Supply replenishment. Sunday through Thursday 1:00pm. Position Functions: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. * *Prepare/Start networked conveyors at beginning of day. * *Activate/Deactivate whole, or portions, of line conveyance to ensure efficiency of freight flow. * *Monitor functionality and flow of freight on conveyance on physical lines, and/or through video feeds. * *As needed, call out to maintenance, or physically clear jams. * *Monitor P&A, PFR and DTC lines and printers for proper application and functionality, as well as changing of labels and cleaning of printers. * *Properly follows company and OSHA safety procedures. * Safely operate power equipment within the JCSC. Equipment may include - swing reach truck (RT), RC Dock Stocker (DS), RT, and any other machines as needed. * Maneuvers equipment in and around tight corners, through staging areas, and around pedestrian traffic in a safe manner. * Performs routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and refers defects or needed repairs to the supervisor; cleans equipment. * Ensure all assigned equipment is fully operational at beginning of shift which includes checking for damage and reporting all damages or malfunctions to supervisor immediately. * Ability to problem solve, communicate, and work in a fast-paced environment. * Ability to read, write, and operate a Radio Frequency (RF) device. * Bring observations, problems, or safety related issues to the attention of the utility/admin, supervisor, manager, director or HR manager. * Follows daily procedures and protocols as set forth in job orientations and trainings. * All other duties as assigned. * Denotes essential functions The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job with or without accommodation. * Required to stand (stationary position) during scheduled hours, which could include weekends, and holidays in conjunction with labor regulations. * Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. * While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to communicate using various methods. * Kneeling, stooping, using stairs, reaching, pulling and moving freight with weights of 5 – 50 pounds occasionally. * Ability to move 5-50 lbs at most 20 feet in distance. * If applicable, must be within the height/weight guidelines provided by equipment manufacturer to safely operate equipment. * Based on business necessity associates may be required to temporarily work in other locations that require different physical demands. Required Education and Experience: * High School Diploma or GED. Work Environment: This position works within a warehouse setting, with limited outdoor exposure during the workday. This role routinely uses conveyance, handheld radios, and specialized equipment such as label printers and controllers/switches.
