The Merchant Services Small Business Technology Lead acts as a member of the Merchant Services Small Business leadership team. The successful candidate will be responsible for systems design and technology solutions that align to Small Business strategic priorities including telephony infrastructure for existing sales and target state platforms. Accountable for platform stability and overall production support. The ideal candidate will have a balance of technical and business acumen to help drive the technology enablement for our key stakeholders.

Lead current state assessments of business challenges and build improvement roadmaps.
Manage and support large, complex business engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business solutions and technology solutions for our LOB.
Act as key stakeholder for all sales tool management and oversight including associate software and hardware, telephony infrastructure, recording and monitoring solutions and new hire technology onboarding
Apply critical thinking to help our team to delight our business partners by achieving their planned business objectives.
Bring leading-edge techniques and analysis to our platforms.
Define, analyze, and manage programs and initiatives to help fulfill our clients' business needs.
Conduct business assessments, develop future state business models and architectures, recommend improvements and create roadmaps.
Engage with multiple LOB partners to update, design and implement all new technology solutions including gathering input from front line associates
Prepare compelling presentations to inform and advise client executives and other stakeholders on the actions we believe their organization should undertake.
Effectively communicate status, project findings, and recommendations to stakeholders and clients.
Implement improvements to enhance our clients' productivity, performance, and long-term profitability.
Develop, maintain, and grow effective relationships with our LOB and within our technology team.
Train personnel on improved processes and disciplines. Provides expertise to Leaders to identify opportunities to enhance front line technology expertise.
Actively participate in career development activities and technical training of staff.
5-7 years experience in a professional services organization, and/or highly relevant industry experience in technology, end to end operations and project leadership.
Demonstrated communications skills, including the ability to distill complex issues into simple, compelling messages in presentations.
Willingness and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Strong knowledge of application development and architecture and overall system design.
Seasoned technologist able to build and work in an Agile environment.
Excellent partner & teammate to peers; can influence & resolve across technology and business organizational lines
Superb relationship management and communication skills and who can navigate the organization, challenges the status quo to transform the business and bring multiple stakeholders together to achieve strategic business goals.
Hands on experience in building enterprise solutions with core technology tools
Able to leverage input from SME's and to rapidly identify alternatives for things such as scope, design choices, resourcing alternatives, etc.
Strong influencing skills and the ability to assess key stakeholder perspectives and adapt style to navigate cultural diversity
Work history demonstrating a sense of personal accountability to drive execution from start to finish
