This senior leadership role is responsible for building out and managing Data solutions and capabilities associated with the Merchant Payment Processing and Aggregated Data Products domains with the Merchant Services business. As a key member of the Data Solutions leadership team, candidate will develop, refine, socialize, and execute the target state vision for their domains as well as collaborate with other product, business, and technology leaders. Candidate will lead in a matrixed environment with several dotted line direct reports composed of Product Managers and Business Analysts.
Critical to success is having experience building Operation and Analytical data stores as well as leading agile product development teams and working with modern technology (APIs, events, etc.). Candidate should also have a solid understanding of the types of capabilities, data, and services used to facilitate payment processing end to end as well as experience with data extraction and visualization tools.
In this role, you will:
Lead the data strategy and solutions for two L2 Product domains: Merchant Payment Processing and Merchant Aggregated Data Products
As part of your strategy role, you will identify and evaluate emerging trends and needs and make recommendations
Own planning and prioritization for your domains as well as execution, including completion of data governance, commercialization, release management, and other required deliverables
As an L2 Product Owner, lead and develop agile product management professionals; provide oversight to Jira, features, stories, etc.
Examine current state capabilities, assess firm best practices and available technology, and collaborate with other leaders and domains to design the target state solution
Partner with third parties to evaluate and integrate their solutions, as appropriate
Engage and influence stakeholders, internal partners, and peers associated with the standing up new capabilities, business practices, and controls in this domain
Identify and recommend opportunities for programs and initiatives with impact across Merchant Services and beyond
Determine appropriate strategy and actions for the team to meet moderate to high-risk deliverables
Interpret and develop policies and procedures for functions with moderate complexity within scope of responsibility
Manage allocation of people and financial resources to ensure commitments are met and align with strategic objectives in aligned department or business group
Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
Required Qualifications, US:
Desired Qualifications:
Merchant Services (acquiring) experience or equivalent senior level experience in the payments industry
Experience in a senior product management role, ideally within the payments industry with responsibility for product strategy definition and overall product delivery/execution
Focused experience in enabling modern capabilities through API's, event buses, and or related technologies
Well versed with Apigee, Kafka, cloud processing, etc. and developer tools required to enable efficient integrations (Postman, etc.)
Leadership experience partnering with third parties to develop and deliver new capabilities
Prior experience with Data Management and Data Governance; ideal candidate will have Merchant Services or related experience for managing a payment processing System of Record (SOR), establishing processing hierarchies, building out reporting and analytics, and enabling portfolio management
Experience building Operation and Analytical data stores
Leading agile product development teams and working with modern technology (APIs, events, etc.)
Experience leading system migrations, ideally within a business transformation state
Highly developed communication and presentation skills; ability to break down complex, technical topics for business consumption
Strong grasp of technology; ability to be a bridge between the business and technology teams

This role offers a hybrid work schedule.
Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.

Pay Range
$120,400.00 - $287,600.00
